Delivery charges

GB mainland orders are shipped free of charge but please note courier deliveries will be attempted once and a redelivery charge will be applied if required. Extra charges may apply for orders from the North of Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and all International orders.


 

Delivery Times

Most GB mainland orders for shredders up to 20kg weight are sent on the 1-3 working day parcel courier service (unless otherwise stated) subject to machine and stock availability and will normally be delivered to the kerbside or ground floor depending on the couriers used - please contact Ecosystem Limited directly, prior to delivery, if further detail is required for your order. Couriers will not normally unpackage products, or site products inside premises – for this service we can quote separately.

Most GB mainland orders for shredders larger than 20kg will be palletised and be shipped free of charge to the Ground Floor only. If you require delivery where access is via stairs or a lift then extra charges may apply. Please call us on 01293 421900 for more information. Goods are only despatched and delivered on weekdays. Occasionally due to courier delays or stock shortages parcels may take longer to be delivered. Where there will be a lengthy delay in despatching your order you will be contacted by phone or e-mail.

Customers placing orders from certain Scottish Post Codes such as those beginning IV and AB should allow 1-2 extra working days for delivery.

Couriers usually deliver Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm and should post a card through the door if there is no-one to sign for the parcel. The courier will automatically try again the following day before returning the parcel to their local depot. Any items returned to us will incur a re-delivery charge. This charge may vary depending on the size of the machine. If you supply an incorrect postal code or incomplete address then there may be a delay in despatching your parcel or delivery of your parcel may not be possible. It is not the responsibility of Ecosystem Limited to ensure that the address is correct and we accept no responsibility for the loss or delay in delivery of your parcel if the address that you supplied is incorrect or incomplete.


 

Damage in transit

It is always best to sign for your delivery as UNCHECKED or make sure you check your delivery BEFORE you sign for it as being received ok. If you are unable to check your delivery before signing for it, sign for your delivery as UNCHECKED or if the package is damaged in anyway, no matter how small, please sign for it stating DAMAGED. We CANNOT CLAIM from our carriers for any damaged items that have not been signed for as DAMAGED. If you sign for a delivery which you find at a later date is damaged, our carriers WILL NOT accept liability and you may be charged for the damaged items if we cannot claim from the carriers, In this case a delivery charge for replacement items WILL be made. By completing your order you agree to abide by these instructions to check your delivery and sign for it accordingly as either OK, UNCHECKED or DAMAGED. If you have signed for your goods as DAMAGED you must notify us by telephone within 7 days of the original delivery date. This communication must also be backed up in writing via recorded delivery within the same 7 days. Once we have been notified of the damaged goods, you will be given a specific reference number.

 

International delivery

For all international orders there will be an additional charge. Please contact Ecosystem Limited on 01293 441900 to discuss these prior to finalising your order. Please note that deliveries to the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Island and the Isle of Man all count as international orders. Deliveries to the North of Scotland and Northern Ireland may also incur an extra postage charge.
